About Bear Mechanical RGV

I’m Chris Niedzwiedz founder and CEO of Bear Mechanical in the RGV. The origin of my last name is Polish meaning “Bear.” My dad was know as Mr. Bear and he was a successful Mechanical Engineer. During his journey as the Vice President of one of the worlds largest manufacturing companies of electrical products he moved to Brownsville TX.  While traveling back and forth to Mexico establishing manufacturing plants he met my mom and the rest was history. 

In 2003 we decided to venture into the HVAC business. I went to school in Austin Tx while he studied online in Brownsville Tx. My dad was a passionate reader,  a devoted husband, a loving father and the most stoic man I've ever been around.  Unfortunately, my dad past away shorty after I graduated and our plan to start our HVAC company was put on the back burner. 

For 20 years I worked hard learning my craft and I loved everything about it. I’ve traveled the country working on many and different HVAC systems for hundreds of the countries top businesses. I always kept studying and learning the latest technology to stay on top of the game. I’ve worked with the largest HVAC corporations in the world as the lead commercial technician for many years. I took on every job from large commercial projects to preventative maintenance and repairs as it was for my own company. I always put the customer first, provided them with details and assured them they were in good hands. I am great full for the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years with these great companies. 

In 2023 I felt it was time to achieve my Mechanical contractors license and open Bear Mechanical RGV.  With my dad by my side in spirit I plan to grow my company one customer at a time. Delivering the highest quality of service and customer care. Our customers will be our number one priority. We are grateful for the opportunity and look forward to serve you! Thank you
